Mini baby booties

Materials:

Any worsted weight yarn (2 colors), size F hook, Tapestry Needle

Abbreviations:

Ch = chain, sc= single crochet, sl st= slip stitch, st(s)= stitch(es), TN= tapestry needle

Note: *each row, start 1st sc in same st as joining ch 1 st.

          *On RND 4, last sc is made in same as joining ch 1 st adding an extra st to that RND, this helps the heel lie flat,

Ch 9

RND 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 6,  5 sc in last ch, sc in next 7 , join with sl st, ch 1. (19 sts)

RND 2: sc next 8 , 2 sc in next 3, sc in next 8, 2 sc in last st, join with sl st, ch 1. (24 sts)

RND 3: sc in next 9, 2 sc in next 4, sc in next 10, 2 sc in next st, sc in last st, join, ch 1. (30 sts)

RND 4: in BLO, sc in each st around, join, ch 1. (31 sts)

RND 5: in both loops, sc in each st around, join, ch 1. (31 sts)

Rnd 6: sc in next 8, sc2tog next 6, sc next 11, join, ch 1. (25 sts)

Rnd  7: sc in next 7, sc2tog next 4, sc next 11, join, ch 1. (22 sts)

Rnd 8: sc in next 5, sc2tog next 4, sc next 9, join. (18 sts)

RND 9: sl st in each st around, join,  finish off. (18 sts)

With TN weave in ends.

Cut small piece of yarn in another color, lace through sts on front of bootie and tie into a bow.
